Our contribution to the ongoing pursuit of equality and inclusion. Inspired by Quasar’s progress pride flag, the new Pride Edition celebrates the diversity and beauty of the LGBTQ+ community through an ancient savoir-faire.
This edition basket, designed by Nuno Henriques, features delicate linen stitching that symbolizes environmental consciousness. Our team produces this basket in-house, fostering a dialogue about LGBTQ+ causes within our close-knit community through the timeless art of Portuguese basketry.
In collaboration with ILGA-Portugal and ILGA-Europe, every Pride Edition purchase directly supports these institutions.
At TOINO ABEL, we put immense effort into creating each basket with the utmost care and attention to detail. As with all our baskets, we include a unique lining, locally made from G.O.T.S. organic cotton. This versatile basket can be used as a handbag or with an optional vegetable-tanned leather shoulder strap.
